University Cancer & Blood Center announcement regarding a new and innovative Theranostics program at the Athens location. UCBC is the first community-based cancer center in Georgia to offer Theranostics outside of a hospital setting. Theranostics is a personalized approach to treating cancer, using both diagnosis and therapy tools as a part of treatment. This treatment TARGETS tumors/bad cells while AVOIDING healthy areas.
