Dr. Ronald Terry Receives Peer-Driven Honor
Dr. Ronald Terry from University Cancer & Blood Center (UCBC), a leading oncology and hematology practice for Northeast Georgia, is recognized as a Top Doctor in the January issue of Modern Luxury Medicine + Doctors magazine. The publication annually honors notable physicians among the area’s healthcare landscape.
An acclaimed radiation oncologist, Dr. Terry recently retired from practice and the recognition helps cap off an illustrious medical career, including nearly two decades with University Cancer & Blood Center, where he leaves a lasting legacy.
“This honor illustrates the level of excellence Dr. Terry brought to University Cancer & Blood Center,” says Dr. Gordon O. Schoenfeld, Medical Director of Radiation Oncology. “In addition to exemplifying highly regarded skill and a wealth of knowledge, Dr. Terry dedicated himself to fostering strong relationships with patients, and keeping heartfelt care and compassion at the forefront.”
Modern Luxury Medicine + Doctors magazine uses a database of top doctors compiled by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., an established healthcare research company based in New York. Each physician included is chosen through peer nomination, research, and a stringent vetting process. The publications feature 1,732 Top Doctors and 51 Rising Stars representing the following counties: Bartow, Bibb, Cherokee, Clarke, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, Dawson, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Floyd, Forsyth, Fulton, Greene, Gwinnett, Hall, Henry, Newton, Oconee, Paulding, Pickens, Rockdale, and Spalding.
“Dr. Terry’s Top Doctors recognition is yet another reason patients can choose University Cancer & Blood Center with confidence,” explains Dr. Schoenfeld. “Myself and his other colleagues are privileged to carry the torch and continue his great work.”
