Kimberly Pittman, certified nurse practitioner, joined UCBC in August 2005. A cum laude graduate of Medical College of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, she worked for two years with a local cardiology group before moving to public health with the Jackson County Health Department, in Commerce, GA, for which she practiced as a public health nurse. In 2004, she returned to school to earn a master’s degree in nursing and nurse practitioner from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA, where she was named to Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing. Kim holds an advanced oncology certification as a nurse practitioner, oncology nursing certification, and is a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
