UCBC Care’s Foundation mission to promote a lifetime of wellness for patients and our community through education, support, prevention, and volunteerism.
UCBC Cares Foundation reflects the University Cancer and Blood Center’s unwavering commitment to extending our care beyond the walls of our medical facilities and into the lives of our patients and the broader community.
The UCBC Cares Foundation is built upon four pillars that define our mission:
- Education: Empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health through comprehensive educational programs and resources.
- Support: Providing emotional and social support services to patients and their families during their cancer journey.
- Prevention: Promoting cancer prevention strategies through community outreach, early detection initiatives, and healthy lifestyle education.
- Volunteerism: Fostering a culture of volunteerism within our community, encouraging individuals to contribute their time, talents, and resources to support our mission.
UCBC Cares Foundation is the bridge between our medical expertise and the community, extending our reach beyond the clinical setting. We envision a future where cancer patients and their families have access to the resources and support they need to navigate the challenges of their illness and thrive beyond it.
